Browns Contract Furniture are a family owned and run business operating for over 22 years specialising in the design, development, construction and installation of quality bespoke fixed banquette seating, sofa manufacture and custom seating for both commercial and domestic projects.
All of our fixed seating is hand built at our Warrington workshop and we offer full design, measure and installation services.
We’re more than happy to meet our clients to discuss their bespoke seating needs, as we understand that every project is unique.
Our Capabilities
We are able to work with almost any panel product, whether it is MDF, chipboard, veneered board, timber, acrylics or solid grade laminate and we also have the facilities to spray and finish components if required.
Spray Polishing
Our polishers are specialists in professional spray finishing. Finishes come in a plethora of colours and effects (including matching services). From stains and lacquers, to gorgeous solid colours and deep glossing. We work to the specifications of all architects and designers. We provide a range of services for all types of furniture. Affordable and time-effective method to give furniture a new lease of life or look.
CNC Machine
While its possible to make unique and durable furniture with hand tools and power tools alone, having a CNC machine allows us to expand our capabilities with woodworking. We can craft and enhance our production of the following furniture pieces with a CNC router.

The use of the CNC machine means our products are machined with precision and accuracy from start to finish. It allows us to create designs and manufacture furniture with efficiency, accuracy and also with minimal waste. Files are sent directly from CAD to the machine meaning the end product is within microscopic tolerances.
The Team
Andy
Andy is the master of all things upholstery and its through his hard work, passion and dedication over the last 22 years that has grown the company into what it is today. He has established strong relationships with clients and earned a lot of respect due to his strong hard working morals. He’s a great boss (he paid me to say this).
Derek
Derek has worked in the upholstery industry all his life and shared his wisdom and skills with his son Andy and continues to come in every day and price jobs, help on the shop floor and do deliveries.
Jan
Jan began working here in 2010 she handles all the invoicing and paperwork for the company and makes sure everyone gets paid on time.
Adam
Began working for Andy at the age of 16 and initially started out polishing then moved into joinery. He has since become head of the joinery department and is the principal CNC operator. Adam often goes to site to measure up for jobs and is the at the forefront of any project and Liases with customers throughout the manufacturing process.
Martin
Martin has worked here for over 10 years and is the head of the polish/spray department, his knowledge on furniture preservation and resprays is second to none. It isn’t a job, it is a passion.
