JT Akshaya Southport

Browns Contract Furniture was proud to work with JT Akshaya Southport, the newest addition to the Akshaya group, to deliver a striking custom seating installation that complements the restaurant’s bold and contemporary take on authentic South Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine.

For this exciting new venue, we designed and installed a standout tiered radius seating arrangement, featuring elegantly rolled backs with four tiers to create both visual drama and comfortable functionality. The central focal point, a beautiful tree feature, is framed by a bespoke curved booth with a diamond-stitched quilted backrest, adding depth, texture, and luxury to the dining environment. We also installed additional custom seating around the tree itself, carefully shaped to fit the space and enhance the flow of the layout.

Every element was handcrafted with care, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern style to suit the vibrant atmosphere JT Akshaya is known for. Our team worked closely with the owners to bring their vision to life, from initial design development through to site visits and final installation—ensuring a flawless fit and finish throughout. The result is a warm, inviting layout that enhances the restaurant’s character, offering guests a distinctive and comfortable setting to enjoy the JT Akshaya experience.
